Cobo Academy Ltd, registered and incorporated in Hong Kong, owns and operates Cobo Academy with the mission to empower our next generation to become future ready. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cobo Academy Ltd while the term “you” refers to applicants, students enrolled and guardians or parents of students enrolled.
By enrolling into our courses or programs, you acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions below:
Enrollment in advanced courses or requests to skip level(s) may be subject to assessment to assess student’s capability and suitability to enroll in such courses.
We reserve the right to refuse, at any stage, the admission of a student or terminate a student’s enrollment due to disciplinary matters, late or incomplete payment of tuition and fees or any other ground.
Tuition Fees & Payments
All course tuition fees must be paid in full at least 3 weeks prior to course commencement.
We reserve the right to terminate a student’s enrollment at any stage due to late or incomplete payment of tuition fees.
We reserve the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to adjust tuition fees and promotional offers.
If there is any discrepancy or inconsistency between tuition fees listed on this website (www.coboacademy.com) and any other channels including but not limited to social platforms and brochures, the information listed on this website shall prevail.
Payments are non-refundable after registration has been made or confirmed.
We reserve the right to amend our programs including but not limited to curricula, class size, class time, number of classes. This may be to the your advantage or disadvantage.
We do not offer any make-up classes or refunds for missed classes for holiday camps. Please refer to the section below for make-up class arrangements for regular term classes.
Cancellations of Classes (Bad Weather & COVID-19 Arrangements)
To safeguard our staff, students, parents and caretakers, classes will be cancelled without refund or make-up under any of the following circumstances:
- Typhoon signal 8 or above, or black rainstorm signal is issued or expected to be issued 2 hours before classes start.
- Public health warnings such as COVID-19.
You are advised to pay close attention to official public announcements and exercise discretion in deciding whether or not to send your children to class.
In the event of instructor absence or unavailability of venue, you will be notified of any class rescheduling.
Make-up Class Arrangements (NOT applicable to Holiday Camps)
Missing a class due to sickness or overseas travel? We got you covered*! We will make our best effort to place your child in a class at the same level so they won’t miss a single bit.
Make-up class requests shall be submitted to us by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us at +852 3905 1111 during our operating hours.
- Make-up classes will only be offered to students who cannot attend regular term classes due to sickness or overseas travel*. We do not offer make-up classes for other reasons.
- Make-up classes are for regular term courses only. We do not offer make-up classes for holiday camps and trial classes.
- Make-up classes are subject to availability and are on first come, first served basis.
- To be entitled to a make-up class, you must notify us at least 2 hours ahead to cancel a scheduled class.
- 1 make-up class will be allowed per student per term. No make-up class will be allowed for non-full term students.
- Make-up classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Make-up classes must be taken within the same term of the missed classes and cannot be carried forward. Any outstanding make-up classes will be forfeited after the conclusion of the term.
While we are committed to make our best effort in providing a safe and secure environment for your child to learn and have fun, your child’s safety is a collective responsibility of ours and yours.
You are solely responsible for the safety of students before and after class.
You are responsible for drop-off and pick-up arrangements for students to and from our center. Students are not required to sign-out or notify us when they leave our center.
In situations where immediate medical care is required, children will be sent to the nearest hospital. By accepting our terms and conditions, you have given us your consent for us to do so.
You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, fines, penalties, costs and expenses of any kind or nature.
We will not be liable in cases where we are unable to fulfill any services to which they are contractually bound because of fire, natural disaster, act of government, failure of suppliers or subcontractors, labor disputes or other reasons that are beyond our control. We will not be liable for loss, damage, or injury to persons or property howsoever caused, save where the liability is expressly imposed beyond exclusion by statute. These conditions do not affect your rights as defined by the consumer protection laws in Hong Kong.
You agree not to reproduce, distribute or show to any other person, in whole or in part, any of the class materials, lesson notes, assessments and tests distributed by us without our prior written consent.
You are not permitted to solicit or make private tuition arrangements with instructors/tutors employed by us.
Photography & Film Material
By accepting our terms and conditions, you accept that Cobo Academy can freely use all photography, film and sound materials that have been created by us during our programs, without asking further approval from the participants. We reserve all rights to images and footages.
We reserve the right to use the student’s work for promotional or educational purposes.
The consent regarding photography and film materials may be withdrawn at anytime with written notice to us via email at email@example.com.
Personal Data & Privacy
We take the privacy of your personal data very seriously. We collect, store and process your personal data for the purpose of completing your registrations, providing you with transaction details, class recap summaries and information relevant to products and services that you have signed up for.
From time to time, you may also receive e-mail/WhatsApp/SMS from us about our new promotional offers and products and services that may be relevant to you and your child. You may opt out of such communications at any time by sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, from time to time in our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
