Interested in 3D design and printing but not sure where to start? Our Level 1 course is perfect for you! Tinkercad is an online platform that allows students to design and create within a 3-dimensional environment. Develop spatial ability in navigating and manipulating camera views. Learn how to place and scale basic shapes before using Boolean operations - the combining of basic shapes together to make complex shapes. Once students have learnt the basic tools, they can really exercise their creativity and bring their imaginations to life! Completed projects can then be printed for a physical model or even exported into games like Minecraft or Roblox and could be the first step in game design.
